The FREE Online Funeral Planning Service
Celebrate your life, your way!
A funeral is a significant and often unexpected cost.
Even a modest funeral, followed by a simple reception is likely to have an average funeral cost upwards of £3,000! Plus, any special requirements will obviously add to the overall cost.
Some people put money aside in a special bank account to cover the cost of their funeral, while others take out a 'funeral plan' - a type of funeral insurance policy which pays out on the holder's death.
And you can save money on your funeral planning as it costs you absolutely nothing to become a Funerals To Die For member.
We are a 'non-profit' organisation.
After covering our running costs, any annual surplus will be donated to a medical charity nominated by our members. For 2011 we will be supporting The Samson Trust who provide invaluable therapies and support to sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis. Visit: www.samsoncentre.org.uk
Funeral Costs vary from one funeral director to another. As always it is advisable to get more than one quote to compare their funeral services. Usually the funeral director will be able to provide a detailed price list of all costs involved. When you arrange a funeral, you are responsible for paying the bill. Funeral payments are normally recoverable from the dead person's estate. The cheapest service is not necessarily the best value.
